Reframing for Resilience

Cherryl has been working with children and their families for over 25 years in various educational, recreational and therapeutic settings. She began her career in Early Childhood Education in Ottawa, working in “before and after school programs.”

She has worked with several organizations and School Boards in both Ottawa and London, Ontario, as well as several years in the Chicago, Illinois area in a therapeutic setting while specializing in behaviour studies.

Cherryl was trained in Self-Reg in Early Childhood through the Mehrit Centre and also a trained resiliency facilitator though RIRO- Reaching Out- Reaching In. She offers customized workshops in the London area that provide educators and parents an opportunity to learn and share together. Currently, Cherryl is focused on providing programs that promote self-regulation, resiliency and support inclusive environments.

She also started Montessori Teacher Education Training this year and will be teaching 3-6 year olds here in London. Cherryl is a member of the Hyde Park Rotary Club and on the Community Service and New Generations Committees.
