DG Scott Rainey's District Conference Was a Huge Success!
What a wonderful conference we had in Marble Falls. I believe we had over 250 registrants attend. It was my first conference and so glad that Easy Ojonta, Jean Love and Paula Allen were able to make the trip. Easy's wife Kenlyn joined us on Friday as well. Easy won one of the men's golf awards and I won two of the ladies' awards....I think there were only two of us women playing! None the less, it was a beautiful course and we had a good time playing. The keynote speakers were all exceptional and I know I came back home inspired and energized more than ever to make a difference through Rotary. Jean Love was given an award for her veteran women's project and our club was awarded Small Club President of the Year. I don't look at that as an individual awards but a testament to the work we did as a club. Congratulations to our club for receiving a beautiful recognition for the year.
