Service Opportunity - August 5, 2020
Looking for a community service project and some Rotary fellowship? Cathy Haukedahl and Ben Hovland will be organizing an Adopt-A-Highway clean-up activity on August 5 and fulfill both of those activities!
The details are still finalized but plan for a 2 hour window over the lunch hour to collect trash. Our segment is County Road 6 from Willow Drive to Willowbrook Road. If you would like to help Cathy organize, please email her at cathy.haukedahl@tradition.bank.
Edited to add: Shelley will take orders for lunch from the Muni if interested. Members will be charged back a lunch-fee next quarter.
Tips for collecting trash
Be sure to wear gloves, as some trash may be sharp.
Stay as far away from the roadway/traffic as possible.
Do not park vehicles on the shoulder to do a cleanup.
