Speaker: Governor Al Quie
Co-Hosts: Karl Neset and Greg Rye

Bring a guest! Al Quie was a member of the Minnesota Senate from 1955 to 1958 and was elected to the US House of Representative serving from 1958 to 1979. He was considered for VP of the US in 1974 after Gerald Ford became president upon the resignation of Richard Nixon. The position was eventually taken by Nelson Rockefeller. Quie ran for, and was elected, governor of Minnesota in 1978 and opted not to run again in 1982. Although Quie left office 30 years ago, he remains involved in public affairs, advocating for maintaining an impartial judicial system, for more educational opportunities for children and for helping prisoners prepare for life on the outside.
