Stephanie J Spencer - Guest Speaker

enneagram coach | opening space to help you see yourself and others with more clarity and compassion

Enneagrams are a very unique and unusual tool of understanding yourself and others and have an "insider" language.  Individuals, couples, and business teams use the Enneagram to look at individual/s strengths and weaknesses and to look at conflict resolution and how to handle it.

The Enneagram symbol is a circle with 9 numbers.  Each number represents home base with wings on either side, and a line to the number that correlates to your stress factors and a line to your security factors.  There are nine types of people that fall within the head, heart, and gut centers (where one communicates from.)

1. teacher/reformer/idealist
2. helper/host/servant
3. achiever/performer/leader
5. observer/investigator/specialist
6. loyalist/defender/troubleshooter
7. enthusiastic/visionary/optimist
8. challenger/protector/maverick
9. peacemaker/comforter/dreamer

Attached are the slides we covered, as well as some bonus slides on the head-heart-gut centers since that came up at the end as something people were interested in hearing more about.  If you are interested in learning more about the enneagram, there are some recommended resources on the final slide.

One that is not on the slide is Enneagram Magazine. Their primer (1st issue) has a wonderful overview of the enneagram. It helps the layers be digestible, and can go a long way in helping people discern their types.  If anyone wants to book a 15 minute call with Stephanie to see if she would be a good fit for a coach, here's the direct link for that: https://calendly.com/stephjspencer/15-minute-conversation
