Rotary Club of Wayzata Memorial Educational Foundation Scholarships
Sixteen $1,000 scholarships will be awarded through The Rotary Club of Wayzata and an endowment from the late M.G. Gullixson. Awards will be based on the student's community service/volunteerism, demonstrated leadership skills and character. Scholastically, applicants do not need to be at the top of their class, but should show academic achievement and the ability and drive to pursue a college education at a vocational, technical, a two-year or four-year college.
The Wayzata Rotary Charitable Foundation will contributing $3,000 towards the sixteen.
Charlie Marvin Memorial STRIVE Scholarship:
Six $500 scholarships will be awarded from the Charlie Marvin Memorial STRIVE memorial fund. This mentoring program is being coordinated and run through Great Expectations and Interfaith Outreach with support from Wayzata Rotary. Criteria includes greatest improvement, improved GPA, attendance, and mentorship.
