Tom Vettel continued his series of Presidential Citations, recognizing members who have gone above and beyond in their service to the club and community, often in behind the scenes ways. Congratulations and gratitude to:
Steve Droen, for being the momentum behind the annual Holiday Fundraiser for so many years.
Jerry Asplund, who was the spark behind our social events, and is missed.
Lynn Groll, for her excellent service to the board.
Fred Meyer, for stepping up and taking the lead on the Shelterbox efforts.
Arne Bjornson, who has tenaciously championed the international project and made it a reality.
Nate Lilleodden, "Mr. Behind-the-Scenes", who quietly volunteers to manage the club's taxes and accounting, and coordinates financials with club administration.
Marty Schneider, for having his capable hands in so many important projects, including the Motorsports Event, logistics, speakers, Halloween events, and more.
Ben Hovland, who has put a face on the club with his efforts in PR and social media, as well as being "an all around good guy."
Charlie Marvin received special recognition and a perfect attendance lapel pin. He attended every meeting in 2014-15, and acts as the icebreaker for our speakers each and every week.
