Giving and the Paul Harris Society

Rotary started with the vision of one man — Paul Harris. The Chicago attorney formed the Rotary Club of Chicago on 23 February 1905, so professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas, form meaningful, lifelong friendships, and give back to their communities.

The Paul Harris Fellow program recognizes individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.  The honor was established in 1957 to show appreciation for contributions that support our Annual Fund, PolioPlus, or an approved Foundation grant.

Wayzata Rotary would like to welcome three new members to the Paul Harris Society:  Ben Hovland, Becky Pierson, and Beth Warner.  Congratulations! Below are the members who continue to participate and the number of years they have been a Paul Harris Society Member. More gratitude for your continuing support.

Norrie Thomas - PH+1
Doug Arndt - PH+2
Sarah Kaelberer - PH+4
Mike Lee - PH+ 6
Cliff Otten - PH +6
Tom Metcalf - PH+8

It is also a bittersweet note to thank Charlie Marvin, who will continue his legacy to Rotary as a Benefactor.  Charlie would have had his PH+9 this year!

Thank you Paul Harris Society members!
