Helping Shelley - Thank-you Members!
As many of you know, our Club Administrator, Shelley Beaumont, is raising funds for her son's Autism Service Dog, Merlin. Shelley shared that she was still $6,000 short of the $18,000 needed ($4,000 for the dog and $2,000 for delivery and family training) and humbly asked members to help her with the last stretch of raising the funds. Her husband has been unemployed for over a year and when the family started this process in 2015, funding the dog was not a problem she foresaw. Doug and Susan Arndt generously offered to match any member contributions up to $500 and members stepped up to help. If you are able, please consider helping her with this final burst of fundraising.
