Steve Hance       

Steve has been a Wayzata Rotary member since 1997. He grew up in Minnesota, attended William Mitchell college of law, lives in southwest Minneapolis and has practiced law in Wayzata for 20 years. He loves the people in Wayzata Rotary and is energized by his leadership of the Rotary Youth Exchange program, which he calls "a real gem". He admires the students who take advantage of the amazing opportunity while admitting he might not have been up for the challenge when he was that age. He has observed that Youth Exchange is one area of Rotary where local members often don't have a chance to see the results of their generosity, so he was excited to bring recent exchange student Laura Moyneur to speak to us this week. As always, Steve is a strong advocate of becoming a Host Family, as the benefits and international experience are strong for both hosts and students. Thank you, Steve.
