Sweeney's work has been juried and exhibited in galleries and top-rated fine art festivals throughout the United States. Presently, Patrick can be found behind his easel as a resident artist in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.

The Wayzata Match Cup sailing race brings world-class sailing to Minnesota, showcases Wayzata, while benefiting local businesses and inspires the next generation of Lake Minnetonka sailors. Wayzata Match Cup is organized by local professional sailor, Sam Rogers. Having participated on the World Match Race Tour and organized other Grand-Prix sailing events around the world, Sam has a keen sense what is needed to successfully execute events like the Wayzata Match Cup.
