Rotarians were able to get together for lunch and fellowship on the lawn. It was wonderful to be able to see members in person! We were treated to observe and learn about some active service (and in-training) dogs who were also excited to get out with their humans and show us some of their tasks.
Helping Paws is a non-profit organization that breeds, trains, and places service dogs with veterans and those with physical disabilities. The organization has volunteer trainers and is able to place dogs at no costs thanks to generous donations and grants.
