Nick Swaggert served as an infantryman with the United States Marine Corps with two deployments to Iraq (2007 and 2009). His civilian work has included working as the director of the Minnesota Marine for Life Program, a supply chain manager for Target Corporation, director of veteran hiring for Genesis10. He currently works on veteran hiring and development for Occam Group. Join us for Nick’s presentation: Making the Transition in and out of the U.S. Military in the Global Arena. Nick will speak about how enlisting in the Marine Corps straight out of high school was a difficult transition, going to war was hard, but returning proved even more complex, challenging and confusing. Nick shares his journey, the reason he joined, the lessons he learned and how he’s using those ideas to help pave the way for others.
