HAPPY BUCKS:
Andy Fazenden was excited that his brother and wife had a new baby boy that morning.
Doug Arndt was happy to report that Dave Sanders (known to Wayzata Rotary for his program with "Baggy" on military canines) and his wife also had a new baby boy this week.
Principal Scott Gengler was twice happy: WHS is off to a great start to the school year, including last week's homecoming AND he is grateful to all the Rotarians who have signed up to be Compass Mentors at the high school.
Superintendant Chace Anderson was delighted that the entire district is off to a great start, despite a high degree of change and a record number of students (over 11K) in the district this year.
Sarah Kaelberer was relived that her daughter, a new driver, has so far safely negotiated the roads.
Maureen Mara was happy that last week J. Carver Distillery had added two new products to the 16-spirit lineup.
