Former Chairman of Allen Edmond's Shoes, and founder of CircleRock clothing, Paul Grangaard shared charming and funny stories about his mishaps while running Allen Edmond shoes and how he came to form his new company. Paul walked us through the process of how he learned a valuable business lesson, "Always listen to the end customer." He has learned that becoming more than you are at the expense of your core customer is a sure way to hurt your business.
In his new role, he is very aware of culture, design, trends, and has a strong value proposition. It is interesting to note that he imports his raw materials and fabrics from Italy, New Zealand, and London and has the clothing and shoes made in the United States.
