Chris Pierson has 30 years’ experience as a business attorney, estate planning attorney and real estate attorney, providing legal representation and counseling to individuals and their businesses.  Often this counsel is in connection with transactions.  His business clients range from start-up entities to mid-sized corporations, providing him substantial business law experience with: entity selection and formation; shareholder, member and partner relations; restructurings; sales and purchases of assets and businesses; exit strategies; and dissolution and winding up.   In addition to corporate law, Chris also handles many real estate transactions, both residential and commercial, and has been involved in numerous real estate development projects. Largely due to the demand of his business clients, Chris has developed expertise in estate planning, administration and probate. Often the challenge is to make sure the client’s business plan aligns with the client’s estate plan. 

Chris is married to wife Becky and has two adult children, Maggie and Christopher.  When not practicing law or attending community meetings, he loves to be outdoors, sail, ski, read, coach kids, and spectate at any event in which Maggie or Christopher participates.
