April 19 Meeting Recap

This past week's guest speaker is an adventurous man who recently participated in a once in a lifetime experience: Glen joined a group of tourists exploring Tibet on motorcycles, eventually reaching base camp on Mt. Everest. Glen's ride took him through the craggy roads and villages of this mountainous and beautiful country. Along the way he explored Buddhist monestaries, stayed in guest houses, met and conversed with Tibetans, and immersed himself in the beauty of the land. Glen found the people and Buddhism very interesting, and was struck by the harshness of Chinese rule there. Wayzata Rotary members were treated to beautiful photography and anecdotes of his travels.
