Special Presidential Citations: Tom Vettel is awarding special recognition over the next several weeks to members who have gone above and beyond in their service to the club, often in behind-the-scenes ways. He awarded two more certificates at our June 17 meeting. Congratulations and gratitude for putting service above self go to:

Mike Lee, who received the President’s Citation for his leadership on the Wayzata Rotary “Logistics Team”. Along with his team members - Darrell Leines, Jim Haug, Robb Hunt and Steve Droen - Mike has been behind the scene of some of our most important offsite events - such as the Annual Motorsports Show and the Chilly Open.

Bob Shadley, who has been our Membership Chair for many years and he brings a sense of honor and pride to the new membership process at Wayzata Rotary. Having been a 2-star General in the Army, Bob exemplifies all the best traits of a Rotarian - service above self, loyalty to others, commitment and honor. He does all of this with a sense of humor that makes him one of our most beloved members.
