HEART OF AMERICA
Rotary Leadership Institute

Why should you participate in Rotary Leadership Institute?
What is RLI?  It’s a series of leadership courses offered in 3 full-day parts (Parts I, II, & III).  Those completing each part are eligible for the net part.  The courses are designed to provide Rotary knowledge and to develop leadership skills for voluntary organizations.  RLI is fun, interactive, participatory and uses top faculty and facilitation techniques to make the experience valuable and enjoyable.
Who should attend?  Any club member, board member or officer who is interested in learning more about Rotary and being an official or unofficial leader in you club or interested in district leadership roles.  It is recommended that clubs sponsor at least two Rotarians each year to begin RLI and encourage prior attendees to complete Parts II and III.

When and where is RLI available?  August 24, 2019 we will offer Part I, Part II & Part III in Jackson, MS.   Visit www.hoa-rli.org for more details. Register:

Why should my club send members to RLI?  Rotary clubs need a consistent influx of new leadership as club officers, board and committee leaders change every year.  It is difficult at the club level to learn enough about the exciting world of Rotary with its 1.2 million members in 200 countries and geographic areas.  Furthermore, leadership skills in a voluntary organization are often different from business leadership skills, It is important that club leaders have every opportunity for education because the success or failure of our clubs depends in large part on the quality of their leaders.  This is an outstanding opportunity for each club to improve the Rotary knowledge of its key people, who will also be exposed to the new ideas of leadership.   Just the interaction with other Rotarians makes the courses worthwhile.  Leadership skills will transcend Rotary and be of benefit to an individual in their professional lives as well!

What is the cost?  The registration fee is $50 per session, including breakfast and lunch, all materials and a fast-paced, fun-filled day for each part of RLI.

How do I register?  Registration should be made on-line at www.hoa-rli.org
