2019 was the best Lobsterfest yet with 450 attendees from Boise Sunrise, Boise Southwest, Nampa and Garden City Clubs. We had gross receipts nearly $240,000 donating $160,000 to Rotary causes including $100,000 to the Hope House.
Almost all of the comments were very positive; the board decided to support the committee’s recommendations of doing something very similar for 2020. A new theme will be selected. The Jordan Ballroom will be the venue and Auctions Made Easy and Larry Flynn will invited back. Ticket prices will remain at $95 per ticket. Corporate tables, private tables and sponsorships will be price similar to last year.
Karl Klokke will serve another year as chairman along with John Wilson as vice chair and Rob Pearson as the CFO.
The date will be determined as soon as BSU’s football schedule is finalized; likely a Saturday, mid to late September.
Keep Lobby Lobster in mine (buying tickets, a table and bringing a creative auction item), the Lobsterfest is the source of funds that makes our club truly exceptional!
