Did you know that the monarch butterfly is Idaho's state insect? It was designated in 1992, thanks to determined 4th graders at Boise's Cole Elementary School. But populations have declined drastically in the last two decades. Jerry Pugh, community program coordinator for the Boise Department of Parks and Recreation, will talk about this beautiful butterfly and efforts underway to protect it. Learn how you can help!
