Event nets over $9,000.00 for local charities!
The Littleton Rotary Club’s 2017 Lobsterfest occurred on October 21, 2017. The event was well-attended, with many diners choosing to eat on the deck of the Bretton Woods lodge due to unseasonably warm weather. As in prior years, attendees could choose between Atlantic lobster or steak, each freshly cooked by Rotary volunteers.
Over twenty Rotarians volunteered to assist at the event in various capacities (cooking, serving, cleaning). Many friends and family members of Rotarians also volunteered at the event. Ticket-holders had the opportunity to participate in the ever-popular basket raffle, with numerous unique baskets available for bidding.
In total, net proceeds for the 2017 Lobsterfest exceeded $9,000.00. The funds will be donated to local charities.
