February is Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution Month

In Rotary International, the monthly theme for February is Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention/Resolution.
This month is significant in the Rotary calendar as it includes World Understanding and Peace Day on February 23, which marks the anniversary of the first Rotary club meeting in 1905.
Key Aspects of February in Rotary:
Focus: Promoting peace, understanding, and conflict resolution through service projects.
Activities: Clubs are encouraged to highlight peace-related initiatives, celebrate the anniversary of Rotary, and engage in community projects.
Resources: Tools and materials are available through the Rotary Brand Center and Rotary Media Center to help promote this theme.
