Garth: Happy to have his sister visiting from Wrexham, Wales.
Shirley/Shelley: Thanks to the Village collective as she loves her new skirt!
Mike: Had a banner to give ot the club from Dave Robinette, from the Rotary Club of Wellington, who presetned recently to the club on his photography.
Dorine: Proud of her graandkids - one of her grandsons is a coach of a U16 Football NS team who played recently games against New Brunswick and won!
Katie: Happy to have her father joining her at the meeting, who might be interested in joining Rotary!
Pierre: Sharing update from Kathleen Novelia, she is finishing up the last of her work and will be home in July!

Cate led the club in a moment of silence for fellow Rotarian Mike Barnard who passed away recently. Mike's lovely obituary can be found here.
President's Report: Phil reminded the membership of the Lobster Doo coming up and the friendship excahgne that will be occuring at the same time. He also asked for any current members who are not returing for the next rotary year to let himself and Rick know before the end of June. Please also check in with any other members.
Phil also updated the club on Chris's progress and that things are going well.
Greg Trefry updated the members on Craig's recovery from pneumonia, and that they visited him recently.
Secretary's Report: Rick and Karen have found a space for the archives and need help to move the boxes- let him know if you can assist.
Presentation: Ian Campbell on “Canning Commons” Project
Ian Campbell, one of our new members through of NKEC membership, presented to the club on their project for Canning, Canning Commons which is a facility for track and fiels (with a artificial turf field, track, jumping training and throwing training facilities). Ian described thr project, its phases, the studies still needing to be done and the partners thehey currently have in the process.
