Please join us for a Walk for a Polio Free World Saturday October 24 from 11am to 1pm at Miner's Marsh in Kentville. Learn about the polio virus and Rotary's part in working to eradicate the disease globally on interpretivie panels placed around the trail.
We'll have a scavenger hunt for children with a chance for someone to win a Jumbo Nature Activity book from local author Pamela Hickman. Get a purple pinkie and learn why purple pinkies play a role in polio vaccinations.
Enjoy a hot dog at the Rotary Club of Kentville's BBQ and a sweet treat from the NKEC Interact bake table.
This is a family friendly free event. Free will offerings will be accepted, but not expected.
We hope you can join us Saturday October 24 between 11am and 1pm.
