Join the Rotary Club of Kentville for our Annual Chicken BBQ Fundraiser to support the End Polio Now Campaign September 26, 5:30pm for 6:00pm.  Joe and Susan Ueffing are opening their home at 1624 Gospel Woods Road, Canning for this event.

Rotary International has been working to eradicate polio globally for over 45 years. Today, polio remains endemic in Pakistan and Afganistan, and variant polio outbreaks threaten the progress we have made against the disease. As long as polio exists anywhere, it is a threat to children everywhere.

We'll be serving a barbecued chicken dinner prepared by the Centreville Baptist Church.  You'll learn about the current state of the End Polio Now campaign and as always enjoy fellowship with fellow Rotarians and friends.

Please register by September 14.  The cost for the event is $50 with net proceeds supporting the End Polio Now campaign.  Please etransfer your payment to Karen Corey, karen@vermeulenfarms.com.

If you don't eat chicken, make a note in the comments section.  We will have a vegetarian option available.

This is a BYO(Everything) event.  Please bring dishes, cutlery, etc. and the beverage of your choice.  We realize some people will be joining our event after the conference and from outside the area.  We will have paper plates and additional supplies should anyone need them.  We'll also have a 50/50 draw during the evening $5 per ticket, 3 tickets for $10 and an armslength for $20.

We hope to see you at the End Polio Now Chicken Dinner Fundraiser!

"Achieving a polio-free world will be one of the greatest humanitarian victories in history, and Rotary will be at its heart. This is not just a health campaign. It is a promise to the children of the world." - Carol, Rotary polio eradication leadership
