I see my time as leader of our Rotary Club, as one that has more opportunity than ever for positive transformation.  Conveniently, I’ve experienced transformation in my life that is relevant to the leadership endeavor set before me as President of The Rotary Club of Palestine. 

 

The Rotary “wheel” is something that I can’t say I recall a time in my life where I didn’t know of its existence. However, as time as gone by, my perception of it has transformed.  My perception of Rotary clubs and what they stand for has evolved as I matured and learned about the world.  Luckily, enough so to lead me to entertain the idea of Rotary membership in 2013. 

 

Luckily for me, not only did I become a member of the Rotary Club of Palestine… but I subsequently became a Rotarian.   And that, my friends, is where real transformation happened.  I’ve learned to see the world around me differently as a result of my experiences as a Rotarian. I hope that my fellow club members will join me in deepening our identities as Rotarians, and sharing the opportunity to enjoy all that entails with more members of our community than ever!
