told us about the financial aid programs available for student at Lamar Port Arthur.  While their tution is $1000 less than many Texas Universities expenses are still a hardship to many students.  Last year Lamar Port Arthur distributed grants of nearly $3,000,000 to its students.  Jo Ellen told about the specifics of many of these programs.
