   1. G o inside a building or vehicle.
   2. Close all windows and doors.
   3. Tu rn off all heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
   4. Stay off the telephone and listen to your TV
       or radio for more informtion.

He also stressed becoming familiar with STAN, a call-in, dial-down system that allows officials to make important informaiton available to Southeast Texas resident.
