We lose another loyal Rotarian

     L. J. Romero passed away quietly at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, September 10, 2010. 

     L. J. Joined the North Port Arthur Rotary Club on December 18, 1972,  serving as Secretary/Treasurer most of the time since then.  He also served at the District level.  He has been the backbone of the North Port Arthur Rotary Club for over thirty years.

     Funeral arrangement are still pending.  Ursula tells me the funeral will probably be Thursday or Friday at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur.  I will send out another e-mail as soon as arrangements are finalized.
