Update On District Matters

gave us an update on what is going on at the District level.

The GSE Team from Argentina will be in our area over the Easter weekend, but unfortunately will not be making a club visit in Mid or South County.

A conference call from RI President D. K. Lee to the Texas District Governors stressed the need to overcome  falling membership.  Several clubs are having Post-Ike problems.

Port Neches and Groves Rotary Clubs are probably going to merge at the beginning of the 2009-2010 Rotary Year.

The 2010 District Conference is going to be a Multi-District event on the River Walk in San Antonio - a first.
