reminding us of the scope of this program that Rotary began in 1988.  That year there were 365,000 cases of polio in 125 countres.  By 2007 there were fewer than 2000 cases in 4 countries world wide.  Representatives of the World Health Organization say that this could not have been able without the efforst of Rotary.  Rotarians have contributed countless hours and over 700 million dollars to PolioPlus todate.
