Linda Tait, director of the Small Business Development Center at Lamar State Collete Port Arthur,
is one of four winners of the 2007 Julie and Ben Rogers Community Service Award, which honors a faculty or staff member for significant community series.
Nominations came for students, faculty an staff members and from the community. Tait was nominated for the award by Dr. Gary Stretcher, vice president for Academic Affairs at Lamar State - PA, who cited her involvement in several civic organizations, city improvement efforts and projects associated with her church, United Christian Fellowship.
