Our August 11th Speaker

talked about the continuing need for blood donations in our area.  Recently there was no Type 0 or B on their shelves and they had to appeal through the local media for emergency donations.

Our club will be holding a Blood Drive on Monday, August 25th from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Holiday Inn Parking Lot.

Restrictions on age have been removed and the only medication that will disqualify you is the oral anticoagulant - Coumadin/warfarin.

Our club will hold two blood drives this year.  If 40% of our membership will donate we can provide blood transfusion insurance to all of our members and their families for one year and provide a vital community service.
