Member Profile

Born in Silsbee and grew up in Evadale.  His parents and brothers are educators.  After college he was a state trooper for 4 years then worked in the marine industry for several years before following his family into education.  He has been in education for 24 years and has been Superintendent of the Sabine Pass ISD for the past 2 years.

At this time he is single.  He has two sons.  The oldest is in construction and the youngest,a graduate of the Naval Academy, is Executive Officer on a fast attack submarine.

His hobby is fishing.

He joined Rotary because Ursula called him.  He enjoys the opportunity to meet individuals from different areas of business and professional backgrounds that helps him to prepare his students for their future careers.  He also appeciates the opportunites that his students have had for participation in Rotary activites and scholarships.
