Chester Moore - Port Arthur News Wildlife Editor

brought us this week's program.  He talked about the fishing, hunting and wildlife photography available to our area.  Describing a Rotary Club program I always say that you learn about things going on in your community that you would not know about if it were not for being a Rotarian.  I have been glancing at Chester Moore's profile above his Port Arthur News column - how could you miss that profile with Stetson hat and chin whiskers - but never got any farther than that, my misfortune.  After being exposed to Chester Moore for just a few minutes I plan to read his column as ofter as possible.

A professional outdoor writer since he was in his teens, Chester lives the outdoors virtually 365 days a year. He is an expert saltwater angler who also loves crappie, catfish and bass. His favorite outdoos pursuit is duck hunting which he spends the bulk of the fall doing. He also partakes in bow hunting and has been known to bust out a rifle to collect venison for the freezer.
