told us about the the Weekend Warrior Series of Courses available to the community this fall.

Weekend Electrician - Introduction to basic electricity and the proper tools to use to safely complete various home maintenance projects to include:
Installing electrical switches
Wiring lamps
Installing ceiling fans
Installing 3-way switches
Installing GFCI's (ground fault circuit interupters)

Weekend Carpenter - Introduction to basic carpentry and the proper tools to use to safely complete various home maintenance projects to include:
Repairing windows
Replacing shingles
Installing roof shingles
Installing roof vents and flasing
Hanging & repairing dry wall

Weekend Plumber - Introduction to basic plumbing and the proper tools to use to safely complete various home mainenance projects to include:
Installing a hot water heater
Installing/repairing a faucet
Installing a garbage disposal
Soldering

Weekend Welder - Basic instruction in 115 volt MIG welding for hobbies and general home and car maintenance.  Basic torch safety, tool selection and proper use of a grinder are included.

Tuition for the Electrician, Carpenter and Plumber courses are $100, the Welding course is $150.
