Bart Bragg - Local Photgrapher

was asked by Program Chairman Don Falke to speak, not about his photography, but about a set of "glass negatives" belonging to the late Bob Darling showing the construction of the Texas State Capitol building in Austin between 1885 and 1888.
Bart told about his adventures at the Texas State Libary authenticating these negatives.  He was able to prove that the set is a "one-of-a-kind" historic artifact.  There are prints in Austin made from these negative sometime in the past.
Bart passed large prints made from the glass negatives around for us to see.  They had been on display at the Museum of The Gulf Coast.  The glass negatives are now in the vault at the Museum of the Gulf Coast.
Bart's resentation completed Don Falke's series of entertaining but useless information.....Great Job Don.
