Status of the Port of Port Arthur

This week's program was brought to us by Larry Kelly, Director designee of the Port of Port Arthur. He gave us a Power Point presentation about the port. The port continues to grow in productivity. Much of the large vessels for the refinery expansion came through the Port of Port Arthur. Miliatry equipment returning from the middle east is coming in though our port. The port has a great infrastructure and a great location. Future plans to widen and deepen the canal will increase the port's capabilities.
