Gifts & Grants

     In addition to Club Elections another tradition is our presentation of gifts and grants to deserving individuals and organizations.

     Our members dug down in their pockets and came up with a Christmas Gift of $225 for Earline, our waitress.

     The following grants were distributed:

$900 to the Port Arthur School Foundation to fund mini-grants to PAISD teachers to support projects that are not in the school budget.

$300 to the Port Arthur School Foundation to fund minigrants to SPISD teachers to support projects that are not in the school budget.

$500 to the Hughen School Christmas Party fund.  This came from Ursula's Christmas Table Cloth Raffle.

$250 to the Port City Rescue Mission.

$250 to the Holly-Day Fund.

$250  to the Salvation Army.

$1000 to the Salvation Army (from Danny White & Texas Gas).

     We have also learned that we collected $718.37 in the kettles for the Salvation Army.
