Dr. Charles McBee and his wife Norma were honored for more than 40 years of service to the Port Arthur community.
 

   This week's program was dedicated to Charles and Norma McBee.  Mayor Delores "Bobby" Prince began with a proclamation naming Monday, September 21st Charles McBee Day in the City of Port Arthur.
   Haywood Stevens described Dr. McBee's years of faithful service to the First Baptist Church.
   Sylvester Pace told about Dr. McBees' dedication to the retired educators organization.
   Dr. Louis Reed told about Dr. McBee's years of service as class room teacher, assistant principal, principal of Thomas Jefferson High School, Associate superintdent and interim superintendent of Port Arthur Independent School District.
   Dr. Janis Hutchins described the McBee's years of service in the North Port Arthur Rotary Club.
   Charles and Norma are moving to Deer Park to be closer one of their sons.
