Girl Scouts of America

Hilda M. Billup, D.S.W, is a Lifetime member of Girl Scouts USA. Her Girl Scout journey began in Kindergarten. Today, she is the troop leader for two troops in Port Arthur. Troop 130453 welcomes girls in elementary school and troop 130025 nurtures middle and high school girls. Hilda believes in the transformative power of Girl Scouts to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. In addition to serving Girl Scouts of San Jancito by leading troops, she is also a member of the Faith Based Initiatives committee and the Golden Coast Recruitment Team. Hilda is the mother of an Ambassador Girl Scout, who is beginning her 13th year as a Girl Scout.
