Balinda Cooper, President, and Founder of TX. CPWN, is a Lamar University graduate and lifelong resident of Beaumont, TX. In 1990 she accepted her calling into ministry to inspire women to walk into what the Lord has for them. She is a licensed Minister under the Church of I Am. From 2000 to 2020, she volunteered as a female Instructor at the Jefferson County Correctional Facility where she has taught bible studies, resume classes and brought many souls to Christ.

In 2017, she activated the assignment on her life to unite and strengthen the women of faith from various professions out of prison mindsets, thus birthing the 501c3 TX. Christian Professional Women Network.  Called to pray for women, promote their businesses or ministries, and teach how to prosper in every area of life. The second tier of TX. CPWN exemplifies phenomenal community service through advocacy, awareness, and advancement for Hope 3d Transitional housing.

Since 2005, she has been employed with Lamar University where she has obtained her Leadership Certification and served on various committees on campus.

 In the community, served as Advisory Board Member of Tri-County Chamber, volunteers at The Dream Center, Red Cross Disaster Team, Franklin House North Shelter and a 22-Global Foundation Advisory Board Member

Her professional background includes educational administration, a published Author of “Have You Taken Your MEDS?”, Retail Management, Insurance, Real Estate, Tax preparer, Business Owner, Stylist, and Image Consultant.

Minister Balinda has been married for over forty years to her husband, Rev. John Cooper.  They have 3 children, Kevin, Cayla, and Kyra and 3 grandchildren.
