Zulema Escobedo is an advocate for cultural education, community development, and social justice. She gets to work on these issues through working with Welding World Academy, the Mexican Heritage Society, LULAC, and Foster a Friend Foundation.  These organizations help the community in various ways including work/study programs, food banks, and most importantly they uplift and empower those in need. From organizing local a food bank to spearheading educational programs, Zulema works on these programs almost on a daily basis. As a self-employed professional, she brings the same level of commitment to her clients. She is married, with three daughters, and has one grandson that she adores!
