Every Thanksgiving, Gloria Kennard opens the doors of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church to welcome her community with open arms and full plates. And she needs your financial support to make this happen.
For more than three decades, Kennard has led this annual tradition, ensuring that everyone — regardless of their circumstances — has a place to share in the warmth and fellowship of the holiday. With the support of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, local organizations, community members, and dedicated volunteers, she helps serve more than 2,000 meals each year.
“Today is a day of Thanksgiving, but every day is a day of Thanksgiving,” Kennard said. “We’re here serving the community with turkey and dressing, ham, pork chops, potato salad, green beans, cranberry sauce, bread, cake, or pie.
