Welcome to the Rotary Club of College Station, Texas.  Rotary International is the world's oldest service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.Image

ImageThe Rotary Club of College Station held their annual Florence Nightingale Awards Ceremony February 6th at the Hilton. For the past 23 years the club has annually recognized local Certified Nursing Assistants working at the six nursing homes in Bryan and College Station. These C.N.A.’s were chosen by their supervisors and peers for outstanding performance in 2013.

ImageOn Saturday, April 20th, students from the Bush School of Government and Public Service partnered with the Rotary Clubs of Bryan, College Station, and Katy to paint a 30-foot map of the United States at Southwood Valley Elementary School. The colorful map, located next to the playground, will provide teachers with a fun, educational tool to increase their students’ knowledge of the geography of our country.

Both Rotary and the Bush School are committed to service in our community, nation, and world. Many thanks go to our volunteers: Dr. Joe Cerami, Annette Denton, Kathleen Karika, Jerry Kingsley, Marlee Kingsley, Brian McDonough, Jeff Ostrich, Melanie Passons, and Bunny Pratt.
