2020 Clothing For Kids
Since its inception in 1990, approximately 2,000 Brazos Valley children have received warm winter clothing sponsored by our annual Clothing for Kids event.
This year, CS Rotary gifted 70 kids with a virtual $150.00 shopping spree at the College Station Target, serving many organizations that are dedicated to the community such as Family Promise, Project Unity and others.
To promote social distancing, the event was conducted as a “curbside pickup” and the nominated families drove through and received their bags of clothing. After their clothing pick up, Outback Steak House in College Station provided the families with breakfast tacos and the “Books and a Blanket” organization provided the kids with special gifts.
