Sun Lakes R C Meeting & Educator of the Year Award

The Sun Lakes Rotary Club’s Educator of the Year Award recognizes excellence in education throughout the Chandler Unified School District. In April 2018, the Sun Lakes Rotary Club selected Sandy Lundberg, Principal of Casteel High School, as recipient of its first Educator of the Year award. Our club recognizes Sandy as the crème de la crème -- a true leader whose purpose and passion for education made her the unanimous choice for this award.

The Club’s Educator of the Year award acknowledges a teacher’s career and passion for teaching children; making a difference in their lives; challenging them to be more than they thought they could be. The Sandy Lundberg Educator of the Year Award is designed to promote  Sun Lakes Rotary as well as recognize and reward excellence in Education as reflected in the Chandler School District and the general Community.

The selected Educator will be presented with a Certificate of Appreciation and $2,000 ($1,000 from the Sun Lakes Rotary Club and $1,000 from the Intel Corporation in Chandler).
