In accordance with our bylaws (Article 13, Section 8), please submit written objections related to the aforementioned proposal within 10 days (of December 22) to the board of directors, stating the reason for your objection.
The election was certain to produce outstanding Rotarians to serve as Board members for 2015-18 because all candidates on the ballot were well-qualified and quite capable. Thank you to all for agreeing to serve if elected.

Thank you again to all who volunteered their time to take part in ringing the bell for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive. You raised a whopping $709.45!
To put that in perspective, on an average Saturday at the Mall entrance door, the kettle raises about $325, and on a really good day, about $400.
Last year, our Rotary club raised $574.58.
Also, considering the fact that our volunteers saved the Salvation Army from hiring a bell ringer for the day, your volunteerism was a tremendous blessing to the Salvation Army and recipients of their work!
The Holiday Party was held at the Mary and John Gray Library of Lamar University and the scene could not have been more beautiful. The room was aglow in holiday decor, with decorated trees, and twinkling lights.
The performers, "A Little Bit of Comfort," were outstanding! They set the mood during the hospitality hour and saved their best performance for the set following dinner. Toby Castro, joined by Ray Baker, Tom Broussard and Glenn Zeringue, had the crowd clapping and toe-tapping! They had no problem getting Past President David Locke to perform along with them too as documented in the video below.
