First presented in 1996, the T. Kelsey Lamb, Sr. Award for Business Ethics has annually recognized some of the Club's outstanding members. In 2017, this prestigious honor was presented to Dana Timaeus.

 

 

Our Club will award the coveted honor at the February 28th meeting, according to this year's chairman, Jim Broussard.  Liz Fredrichs, President/CEO of the Better Business Bureau Serving Southeast Texas, has been selected as the speaker for the program.

Don't miss this opportunity!  In celebration of International Women's Day 2018, the Rotary Club of Beaumont will welcome Dr. Sylvia Whitlock to Beaumont to speak at the March 7, 2018 meeting.  Sylvia travels extensively, sharing her story of the first Rotary Club in the world to open its membership to women, even before the International organization had officially approved women in the male-only organization.  Not only were the women welcomed, Sylvia became the first woman to hold the office of President within her club.  Come hear her story - from her!
