Are you looking to make your Community better, and to make a difference  on an International Level?                
The Rotary Club of Dawson Creek has been working towards the betterment of our community since 1951.  Joining Rotary allows you to make a genuine difference and take action on important projects, initiatives, and issues affecting not only Dawson Creek, but worldwide as well.  We are a diverse group of individuals, each bringing unique skills and experiences to the Club.  We take positive action towards solving problems and overcoming obstacles for causes we collectively support, not only locally, but internationally too.  Rotary meetings and events are about fellowship and fun too!  There are chances to hear from community leaders, political and business leaders about issues relevant and affecting our community, and to put forth tangible solutions to community  issues as identified by our members.
 
Becoming a Rotarian, ensures we have a diverse membership, and that together, we can make great things happen!

Events
Car Rally
The return of the great Rotary Car Rally saw teams from both the Rotary Club (Noon) and Sunrise Club traveling the South Peace from Dawson to the windmill farm, north past Rolla, into Alberta and then south to Swan Lake. Prizes were had by all, and a Great Meal at the End hosted by Larry and Kay. Thanks to Don and Margret for the route and historical context! Here's some of the teams at the Wind Farm.
September 21st Rotary Day of Peace
Join us at 10:30 am September 21st at Peace Park for presentations from local dignitaries and show your support for Peace.  Shown here are Rotary Club of Dawson Creek President Anna, and from our sister club, Fred from the Sunrise Club receiving the official proclamation from Mayor Darcy Dober.
Day of Peace - Sept 21st
JOIN US! for International Day of Peace, Sat 21st September at the Dawson Creek Peace Park, located near the 10th St. Bridge starting @ 10:45 am. Hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Dawson Creek. This event features guest speakers, and a moment of silence.
This is open to all individuals, service clubs, schools, religious organizations; to listen to and share ideas on how we can achieve and maintain International Peace.
Steven's Hope
We were most fortunate to receive a presentation from Dr. Lorne E. Parker of Steven's Hope.  If you've ever wondered how much a difference in being a Rotarian you can make in the worlds, we urge you to watch the videos on Steven's Hope where the building of schools and infrastructure has changed lives in Mozambique.  Make sure to visit the website at www.stevenshope.ca.  Truly outstanding and worthy of our support.  Thank-you Dr. Parker!
